A free 10 minute timer: press Start, and ten minutes count down on the whole screen, then a bell rings. It is made for one quick task, start to finish: a tidy-up, a short assignment or a morning routine.
01 One task
One task, ten minutes
Ten minutes turns a job you keep putting off into one you can finish. Clear the desk, answer the three emails that wait, sort the laundry or read one section of your notes. With an end in sight it is easier to begin, and at the bell you can stop, or go on for another round.
At home it works for children as well: ten minutes to put the toys away, to get dressed for school or to practice an instrument, with digits big enough to read from the sofa. The countdown is plain on purpose. There is no score and no rush, only the time that is left.
02 Other lengths
Shorter, longer, or on a big screen
The lengths under the digits go from 5 to 20 minutes. If ten minutes was meant as a pause, try the 5 minute timer; for a long stretch of homework or housework, the 30 minute timer. For a countdown of any length on a projector or a TV, open the fullscreen timer.

04 FAQ
Questions about the 10 minute timer
Does it keep counting in another tab?
Yes. The time comes from the moment you pressed Start, not from the tab, so it stays right while you work elsewhere, and the bell rings when it ends. A phone may wake the page late; keep it open.
Can a child read it from across the room?
Yes. The digits are as large as the window allows, and F makes them the size of the screen. While the countdown runs, the buttons fade, so only the time is left to look at.
Can I pick 15 or 20 minutes instead?
Yes. 5, 15 and 20 minutes are under the digits, and Custom sets anything from 1 minute to 10 hours. Next time the page starts at 10 minutes again.
Do I need an account for the 10 minute timer?
No. It is free, without ads or sign-up, and your rounds are kept in this browser. Add it to your home screen to open it like an app, even offline.
