A free visual timer: the time left is a colored disc that shrinks as the minutes pass. Press Start and see at a glance how much is left.

01 The disc
Time you can see at a glance
A visual timer turns the minutes into a shape. Here the colored sector is the time left: it starts at 12 o’clock, and as the countdown runs, its edge goes back toward 12. When the color is gone, the bell rings. The digits under the disc give the exact minutes and seconds.
One look says whether there is a lot of time left or a little. That makes it a timer with a shrinking disc for anyone: a visual timer for adults at a desk, in a meeting or at the stove, and for children who can’t read a clock yet.
Prefer numbers alone? The fullscreen timer fills the screen with big digits, and the minimalist timer shows only the time. For short blocks on the same countdown, try the ADHD timer; for work in rounds with breaks, the Pomodoro study timer.

03 FAQ
Questions about the disc
What does the disc show?
The time left. The colored sector starts at 12 o’clock and reaches round the dial as far as the minutes left: a whole disc at the start, half a disc halfway through, nothing at the bell. For a length up to an hour, each mark on the dial is one minute.
Which lengths can I choose?
5, 15, 30 and 60 minutes are one tap away. Custom in the timer settings goes from 1 to 600 minutes: a minute at a time up to 10, then in steps of 5, and of 15 past an hour. The page keeps your last length.
Does it ring in a background tab?
Yes. It counts from the moment you press Start, so the time stays right in a background tab or after a reload, and the bell rings at zero. On a phone, keep the page open: the bell may come late, but the time stays correct.
Is there a full-screen mode?
Yes. Press F or the Full screen button: the disc takes as much of the screen as it can, and Esc brings the page back. That makes it a visual countdown timer for a TV or a second screen.
Are my countdowns saved?
Yes. Each finished countdown goes to the same log as the other timers on the site. Open the study log to see your time by day and week.
Is the visual timer online and free?
Yes. It runs in your browser with no account, no ads and nothing to install. Add it to your home screen to open it like an app, even offline.
