Every study tool on Study Tally is free, works without an account and keeps your data on your device. Study Tally Pro is for the things that need a server: sync, a cloud copy of your history, reminders and weekly reports. Pro is free during early access: sync and a cloud copy of your history already work for everyone who signs in, and the other features open to everyone invited.

Free forever, on your device
Everything one student needs on one device is free for good: no trial, no limits on history, no ads.

Study timer, focus timer and stopwatch
Pomodoro presets, a focus timer with your own length, or a count-up stopwatch for studying. Every session is logged by subject on its own.

Study tracker
Your whole history with no cut-off: hours by day, week, month and subject, streaks and a 12-week heatmap.

A weekly study schedule, homework with due dates and a day-by-day plan for exams, ready to print.

02 Pro
Study Tally Pro — early access
Pro adds the things a browser can’t do alone, because they need a server. It opens in early access first and is free for as long as early access lasts. Account and sync already work: sign in, and they’re on. For the other features below, leave your email, and we’ll invite you when they open.

Account & sync
Sign in once and your log, stats and plans stay the same on your laptop, phone and school computer. A copy stays in your account, so clearing your browser or switching phones never costs you your history, and you can bring it back to how it was at an earlier moment, up to 90 days ago.

Reminders
Emails before homework is due and as exams get close, about the things you choose.

Weekly report
A short email each week with your hours by subject and your streak, sent to you or to a parent.
03 Plans
Yearly or lifetime
After early access, Pro will come as two plans. A monthly subscription won’t be the main way to pay.

Questions about Pro
Is Study Tally really free?
Yes. Every tool on Study Tally is free, needs no account and shows no ads. The tools stay free: Pro only adds things that need a server, and nothing that works today will move behind a paywall.
How much does Pro cost?
Nothing during early access: Pro is free for as long as early access lasts. We’ll announce the price and the date on this page well before Pro becomes paid. Whatever you decide then, the free tools stay free, your data stays yours, and you can always export it.
How does early access work?
Account and sync are in early access already: sign in by email or with Google, and they work at once, for free. For the other Pro features, leave your email. When early access to a feature opens, we’ll send you one email with your invitation, and we won’t use your address for anything else.
Do I need Pro to keep my study history?
No. Your full history, stats and plans stay free and complete on your device, with no time limit. If you sign in, a synced copy is kept in your account too. Without an account, clearing your browser data deletes your log, so export a backup now and then.
Is my study data sent anywhere now?
Only if you sign in. Without an account, everything you log stays in your browser on this device and never reaches our servers. If you sign in, it syncs to your account on our server, so that your other devices get it too. Apart from accounts, the only thing we store is an email address, and only if you leave one for an early access invitation.
